CADGeoWeave achieves data interoperability through implementation of Open GIS Consortium standards including the

• Simple Feature Specification (SFS),
• Coordinate Transformation Services Specification (CT),
• Geography Markup Language (GML),
• Web Map Service (WMS), and
• Web Feature Server (WFS).

It also uses open systems standards, enabling it to operate on Windows, Linux, and UNIX.
